Description: The GlycoEnzDB is a manually curated glycoEnzyme database, primarily focused on humans. It covers 390 enzymes across 28 pathway maps. Facilities are also available to create custom glycosylation reaction pathways using experimental data in SBML format and for pathway simulation

• A3GALT2 mRNA is not detected in human tissues. In other species, like mice, this enzyme catalyzes the formation of isoglobotrihexosylceramide or isogloboside 3 (iGb3) by catalyzing the transfer of galactose from UDP-Galactose to its acceptor molecule Gal-beta-1,4-Glc-Cer.
• Due to the lack of this activity iGb3 is absent in humans.
