Description: The GlycoEnzDB is a manually curated glycoEnzyme database, primarily focused on humans. It covers 390 enzymes across 28 pathway maps. Facilities are also available to create custom glycosylation reaction pathways using experimental data in SBML format and for pathway simulation

About

• Alpha L iduronidase hydrolyzes iduronic acid from dermatan and heparan sulfates.
• Deficiencies in this enzyme cause mucopolysaccharidiosis (Hunter's syndrome) due to the lack of clearance and processing of glycosaminoglycans. The disease manifests early in life and causes a wide array of bodily dysregulation such as joint stiffness, cognitive impairment and neurodegeneration.
